Electronic Technician - Manchester

Minstrell Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Electronics Technician son a permanent basis in the Manchester area on behalf of our client, a well established Software company.

We are looking for a  Technician to join the team with the experiance below: 

• Electronics assembly
• Configuration
• Quality assurance

Full training will be provided, This role will require cross-working with the Supply Chain, R&D teams, Sales Operations, and finance teams.  

Key Responsibilities

• To build, test & quality assure products on time and to high quality standard
• To ensure high standard of safety and housekeeping is always maintained
• To prepare and oversee timely despatch of all goods
• Test & repair of devices
• Planned maintenance
• Supporting field service engineers, with occasional site visits required

 * Please note, training is provided and supported as part of the induction period *

Required Skills:

• Practical hands-on skills with hand tools and assembly.
• Experience building electronic devices.
• Ability to solder to a component level.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams
• Time management / self-management / organisation skills.

Advantageous Skills

• NVQ level 2 in electronics assembly or similar.
• Familiar with loading and configuring firmware.
• Experience of IoT devices.
• Experience of 4-20mA circuits and instrumentation.
• Experience with mains voltage electrical circuits.
• 17th edition electrical certification.
