I am currently looking to recruit an Implementation Manager to join my client based in Hertfordshire.

You must have Demonstrable Project Management experience or exposure within the logistics, material handling, rail, automation or construction industries. You will also have international experience and have worked with large budgets.

The company is a world leading innovator in online grocery shopping, with a pioneering business model. Developing their own technology and new customer propositions. They are opening multiple sites at an accelerating rate and engaging in exciting new business partnerships in the UK and Internationally!

This is an exciting role with a degree of autonomy, which will involve delivering large scale capex projects in a dynamic and fast paced environment for International and UK partnerships with clear focus and goals.

They are now looking for Implementation Managers to help drive the implementation of the next generation UK and Global Customer Fulfilment Centres ( automated distribution centres ) from concept through to completion.

Core Responsibilities - Working in the Site Implementation team to:

  • Project manage the Implementation of a new Automated Customer Fulfilment Centre in either the UK or for one of their International customers.
  • Create , manage and monitor large scale budget, programme and specification for a project
  • Prepare board papers to gain sign off for investment business cases
  • Liaise with and drive multiple internal and external stakeholders and suppliers
  • Manage client relationships within the Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) project delivery
  • Maintain and monitor progress of the project against the companies standard project methodology
  • Development of a detail CFC design in conjunction with the CFC Design Team
  • Coordination of risks and issues within the project with regular reporting and escalation to senior management when required
  • Work to and follow all CDM guidance, both external (CDM Regulations 2015 and associated Guidance L153) and internal (CDM15 procedures and processes, HS&E policy and associated Arrangement Policies). To seek guidance from the HS&E team where there is uncertainty.

Preferred Experience (in addition to minimum)

Minimum Experience:

  • Demonstratable Project Management experience or exposure within the logistics and engineering sector

  • Line management / leadership experience

Qualifications

  • Degree level or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications (in addition to minimum)

  • Prince 2 or equivalent

You must also be able to travel within the UK and globally 15-20% of the time.
