Groundworker/Dumper (L37)

We’re currently looking for a reliable and experienced all round Groundworker, who has a dumper licence, on behalf of our client to join their workforce in Formby.

Formby Train Station is located an approx. 10min walk away from site

Closest bus stops are located on Duke Street & Sumner Road – both an approx. 3-5min walk from site

REQUIREMENTS:

- Must hold valid CPCS/NPORS licence & relevant plant ticket (this will be verified on application)

- If your plant ticket is NPORS & it is not yet CSCS affiliated then you will also need to hold a valid CSCS card

- Must be able to provide relevant checkable reference(s) on request.

- Previous site experience in a similar role is essential

- Must have full own PPE

You will be working on a new Leisure Centre, working on the Car Park development. You will need to be an all-rounder who’s proficient in all aspects of G’work; trenches & ducting, drainage, concreting, kerbing, tarmacing etc. Main duties will be to operate a 1Ton forward tipping dumper as required, and carry out various aspects of groundwork as needed, along with any other associated duties as instructed on site.

(You will be knowledgeable on road/car park construction & be aware of the stages/layers involved (Sub-base, binder, surface etc.))

Start Date: Immediate Start Available

Duration: 2 - 3 weeks approx.

Rate of Pay: £14.00 per hour

Hours: Monday – Friday, 40hrs per week
