Employability Trainers - Manchester

Minstrell Recruitment currently require Associate trainers who are able to deliver Employability Skills training.

You will be based in our Swinton Training hub but must be willing to travel around the GM area to deliver.

  • You must be qualified and have previous experience in the delivery of.
  • NCFE Entry Level Certificate in Employability skills
  • City and Guild Entry Level 3 Certificate in Customer Service
  • NCFE level 1 Award in Mental Health Awareness.
  • Ideally you will also be an assessor / IQA

You must possess the following:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to plan and organise workload effectively

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Plan & design appropriate training programmes (including development of schemes of work, lesson plans, taking account of individual requirements to ensure differentiation of learning
  • Deliver high quality, engaging training
  • Where appropriate, prepare students to successfully undertake assignments or sit tests/exams in order to maintain high success rates
  • Mark/assess students’ work, provide structured feedback and set development objectives for students
  • Evaluate training and implement appropriate improvement actions
  • Level of programme taught (Entry level – Level 3)

Experience:

  • Industry experience in specialist area
  • Experience of T&L quality standards especially OfSTED
  • At least 1-2 years’ teaching experience

Knowledge: 

  • Up to date knowledge of specialist subject area/professional qualifications as appropriate
  • Must hold teaching qualification – PGCE, PGDE, Cert Ed, DTLLS (and L5+ subject specialisms where necessary)
