CSCS Pipelayer/Drainage Operative (Confined Spaces) - Wythenshawe

We’re currently looking for a confined space trained, Pipe Layer/Deep Drainage operative on behalf of our client to join their workforce in Wythenshawe.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Must hold valid CSCS card (this will be verified on application)

- Must hold valid “Confined Spaces” certification (we will require a copy on application)

- Must be able to provide relevant checkable reference(s) on request.

- Previous experience in a similar role is essential

- Must have full own PPE

You’ll be working on a large new build development. Main duties will be to carry out pipe laying at the deep drainage stages of the project; working at a depth of 5 metres & using 12” diameter pipes, along with any other associated duties as instructed on site.

Start Date: Wed 30th Jan / ASAP

Duration: 8 - 10 weeks (approx.)

Rate of Pay: £17.50 per hour

Hours: Monday – Friday, 45hrs per week

NB. If you do not have the ‘Confined Spaces’ certification but would be interested in acquiring this training; there are online courses available for circa £10-£25+VAT. Once completed, you save/print your electronic certificate.

(There are a couple of providers that post the cert next day - most are available immediately after completion though)
