Engineering MRP Planner - Hertfordshire

Minstrell Recruitment currently requires an experienced Engineering MRP Planner for a position based in the Hertfordshire area.

You will be responsible for the consolidation of multi-site forecasts, establishing and maintaining planning parameters to ensure parts are available to meet International business requirements in a timely manner. Accountabilities

• Ensure forecasts are collected and validated before entering into the MRP system, then regularly reviewed.
• Ensure planning parameters are reviewed and optimised.
• Monitor supply and demand and take corrective actions where appropriate.
• Continuously improve processes to improve accuracy, transparency and efficiency.
• Ensure agreed customer service levels are met.
• Maintain KPIs and report regularly.
• Work with internal customers to assure forecast quality
• Work with other teams to roll out new products effectively.

Experience

Minimum:

• High level of computer literacy with Microsoft Office, Google Docs and ERP software
• Understanding of forecasting, stock control and Just in Time practices
• Although based at our Hertfordshire head office, you will occasionally be expected to travel to sites both in the UK and abroad
• Highly numerate and proficient in Excel with demonstrated analytical skills
• Experience of working in MRP planning role
• Ability to work in dynamic, team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Preferred (in addition to minimum)

• Experience of working in Engineering environment
• Experience of Oracle software
