Electrical Maintenance Engineers - Gosport

I am currently looking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineers to join my client based in Gosport, Hampshire on a days and night shift basis.

Experience from an FMCG / Manufacturing or Automation background is preferred.

 Roles and Responsibilities

• To investigate and repair electrical and technical breakdowns and malfunctions.
• To work on any production or plant equipment and be able to diagnose the causes of a wide range of malfunctions.
• To carry out planned maintenance on all site electrical and technical equipment, working to a planned maintenance schedule and inclusive of thermal imaging
• To maintain and update all maintenance documentation, which will include the use of PC based systems.

Skills Required

• Be a Time Served Electrical engineer and  have previous proven experience of working in an FMCG / High volume production environment
• Have experience of Factory Plant equipment and plant services
• Be qualified in 17th Edition / C&G2391 Testing and Inspection Course
• Ideally qualified to a minimum of Level 3 Diploma / ONC or HNC or equivalent in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety legislation with isolation & lock off training
• GCSE or equivalent Grade A-C in Maths and English.
• Strong focus on continuous improvement for self, team, systems & equipment.
• Must be PC literate & able to use PC based recording systems

You will be a flexible team player with a proactive and analytical approach. With strong focus and drive, you will have strong communication & organisation skills with the ability to work under own initiative. You will also be willing to work additional shifts when required.
