This is a permanent, full time role.

Summary of Role:

The role of the Maintenance Supervisor is to manage all elements assigned to them in a professional and safe manner.

The role will involve responsibility for the administration and delivery of working processes within their team, delivering planned and reactive maintenance regimes, compliance with Vinci health and safety requirements and support to the Coventry hospital operation through liaison with other Service stream Supervisors involved in Ventilation service, Mechanical Service, Electrical Service.

Reporting to the Senior Building Manager via the Building Manager, the role will involve coordinating internal functions associated with the PFI operation around the Building & Civil Team, ensuring compliance with PFI contractual SLA’s, supporting the compliant delivery of planned and reactive maintenance works in accordance with set procedures.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Ensure individual and team activities are in compliance with all healthcare estate statutory, contractual, HBN and HTM requirements.
• Specifically responsible for ensuring the team under their control is fully staffed for efficient deployment.
• Liaise with and manage contractors to ensure services are delivered to plan and approved cost.
• Liaise with Trust staff as and when required during the coordination of planned and reactive activities
• Review all documentation, reports and service sheets when required for accuracy prior to issue.
• Attend and actively participate in Meetings.
• Detailed understanding and control of the CAFM system.
• Provide information for Monthly Reports and as required.
• Provide Technical Reports on system issues as and when required.
• Manage and Supervise all labour associated with delivering the service.
• Provide planned and reactive maintenance duties across a broad range of Building fabric & Civil services and equipment.
• Manage and maintain all records associated with delivering the service ensuring faults are repaired in time.
• Fulfilling and Undertaking the required training for the roles where necessary of Authorised & Competent Persons
• Maintenance of adequate records, quality of service and maintenance of system safety (integrity).
• Undertaking technical audits of contractors and direct labour performance
• Ensure individual and team activities comply with Vinci method statements and task instructions.
• Administer when necessary and comply with the permit to work system for the areas of responsibility
• Coordinate any absence management requirements associated with staff within their team.

Qualifications: Construction/Engineering specific qualifications are required.

Relevant Experience: FM and NHS related experience desired.
