Senior Site Manager - New Build Apartments - North London

A medium sized main contractor specialising in projects in Central London and outskirts, are currently seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager for a new multi million pound project in Edgware.

The appointed Senior Site Manager will be managing a new project in Edgware which consists of the construction of 122 units from inception to completion.

As a Site Manager, your duties will include but will not be limited to the following:

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing own team of direct labour and driving productivity
  • Ensure works are completed in accordance with design information
  • Managing specialist sub-contractors and signing off their works
  • Minor procurement of standard materials from approved suppliers
  • Ensure works are completed in line with programme as well as labour and materials budgets
  • Ensure all activities on site are in line with health and safety procedures are requirements

Key Skills

  • Have exceptional written and spoken English
  • IT literate and can learn to use the latest cloud software products for health safety and construction management
  • Be highly self-motivated and have experience of delivering high quality projects in a pressurised environment
  • Have project management experience of running high end residential projects in excess of £8 Million 
  • Have exceptional attention to detail and a "right first time" attitude
  • Outstanding organisation and time management skills
  • Have a flexible approach and have excellent people and problem solving skills
  • Ideally trade qualified (carpentry preferred), and SMSTS
