CLIENT/ROLE…

My client is a well established homebuilding developer, with National coverage, who, over the past 80+ years, have built themselves a trusted industry reputation for constructing high quality homes and delivering excellent customer service throughout.

Over the years, this company has soared from strength to strength and are an extremely successful player in the UK markets; The past 5 years have been extremely rewarding for this company & it’s employees, with constant & continuous growth, seeing their revenue double to nearly £700m and seeing Pre-Tax profit increase by nearly 2000%!!

They are continuing to experience serious company growth and are currently looking to invest in a handful of additional experienced Site Managers to join their existing teams and cover North West projects

They have an urgent requirement for a new Site Manager to join them who will take on a new Housing Development from the get go & this will be based in Chorley.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS…

- Experience with New Build Spec Housing projects is essential.

- Varied ‘New Build’ experience will be advantageous.

- You will have proven experience delivering projects on time & within budget.

- Solid knowledge of the complete construction process ; From inception to handover.

- Experience in running a site for the full life-cycle of the project.

- You’ll be educated to at least Degree level or HNC/HND equivalent in a Construction Management subject.

- SMSTS Certification

- CSCS card – Black managers card preferred, however not essential.

- 1st Aid at Work

- Asbestos Awareness – advantageous but not essential

  • Excellent Organisational and Interpersonal skills
  • Excellent Verbal (Telephone & Face2Face) and Written Communication Skills
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office - Excel, Word & Outlook
  • Ability to prioritise and work flexibly to accommodate changing priorities and deadlines
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised and also as part of a busy team.
  • Ability to deal tactfully with sensitive or confidential information
  • Ability to use initiative and problem solve
  • An excellent team player, showing flexibility and a responsive attitude to team/individual tasks.
