Job Purpose

As a vital member of the team, the role will involve providing support for all production activity.

The main purpose of the role will be to maintain all plant and equipment in line with a planned preventative maintenance schedule and responsive breakdown maintenance.

Ensuring the health, safety and welfare of all employees and the optimum running efficiency of all equipment, plant and services.

Job Requirements:

Must have electrical qualifications with some type of mechanical competency

Minimum of 3 years in the food/FMCG manufacturing industry experience

Excellent fault finding abilities

Flexible approach

Excellent electrical abilities

Proven knowledge from the Food/FMCG industry would be an advantage including multi head weighers, checkweighers, and conveyor systems

Effective communication skills at all levels

Must be a team player with good attention to detail

Proven problem solving skills

Able to motivate self and others in team

This position is a mixture of days and nights. Overtime is available on a regular basis.
