JOB SPECIFICS

To deliver an effective and timely maintenance service to operations, ensuring full compliance

With all legislative and company specific requirements for Health, Safety, Environment and

Product Quality

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

• To complete all preventative and predictive maintenance work orders as detailed in the asset maintenance schedules & departmental work load plan

• Conduct fault finding on plant upsets and equipment malfunctions, implementing suitable corrective actions/maintenance

• Recommend amendments to the asset maintenance schedules in light of inspection histories and operational experience

• Develop and implement improvement plans for allocated equipment to increase efficiency and technical availability

• Conduct bench overhaul activities on designated repairable components

• Provide technical support and training to operators on all aspects of autonomous maintenance

• Generate and review plant and maintenance documentation and critical procedures

• Carry out, where competent to do so, any other duties as requested by the Engineering Manager and site management team, that are within scope and nature of the role

QUALIFICATIONS

• Have completed a recognised apprenticeship or hold a recognised qualification e.g. City & Guild. BTEC. NVQ level 3, ONC/HNC in electrical/mechanical engineering discipline as minimum qualification.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 3 years in the food/FMCG manufacturing industry experience

• Excellent fault finding abilities
