Trainee Administrator - Manchester

Minstrell Recruitment currently requires Trainee Recruitment Resourcers and Admin personnel for positions available in the Greater Manchester area

This position is for a Sector Based Work Academy delivered by Minstrell Training for employment with a number of construction companies in Ashton Under-Lyne

Candidates must:

• Be available to attend an open day on 21st May 2018 at Ashton Jobcentre
• Be aged 19 or over
• Currently be claiming benefits
• Not be Alcohol or Drug dependent
• Be able to commit to 3 weeks training at Stockport College

The training will provide the candidate with above and beyond the qualifications required to fulfill their duties – the entry level will be Trainee however the Client will decide at interview stage what the candidate will be best suited to do.

The candidates do not need any previous experience, just a willingness to learn new skills and the commitment to work.

Following the training candidates will be interviewed for positions with one of the UK's leading infrastructure contractors and Recruitment consultancies

The training will last 3 weeks and during this period, candidates will continue to receive their DWP benefits.

The training will include:

• Level 1 Employability Skills Certificate (NCFE)

Which includes :CV Building, Team Working, Effective Time Management, Building sustained working relationships, Effective working mindset, Overcoming barriers of working in Construction sector (links to Mental Health Units)

• Level 1 Customer Service Award (City and Guilds) (Construction Centric)

Which includes Managing Internal and External customer relationships, Effective Listening, Developing effect communication techniques for audience, Understanding different customers within a construction environment

• Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment

Candidates will also receive certification in a number of other competencies.
