Lead Maintenance Engineer - City

Minstrell Recruitment currently requires an experienced Lead Maintenance Engineer for a position available in the City area

-Call out, Overtime - OTE 40-45K+

We have a current vacancy for a lead maintenance engineer for a large site based in London Bridge. The position requires an experienced engineer and could possibly be someone taking their first step in to a more senior role. Candidates will need to have formal technical qualifications (ideally electrically biased with 17th edition but mechanical may be considered) and will need to have worked within a client facing corporate environment.

Leading a two man team, this is a hands on role that will also incorporate closer client liaison, dealing with sub-contractors, keeping logs up to date and prioritising work load.

A good understanding of large commercial building is essential with systems and plant including full power and lighting distribution, power back up (generators etc), main boiler and chiller plant (first line checks, resets), Air handling units, FCU’s, water treatment, BMS, plumbing and fabric maintenance.

In addition to this, a solid understanding of contractual and statutory compliance, health and safety, logs, small project works is also a requirement. This role could be seen as a good stepping stone to more senior supervisory and eventually management roles.
