Operations Manager - Construction - East London£70,000 - £75,000 + Plus package 

Minstrell Recruitment have been instructed by multi disciplined construction contractor in sourcing them an Operations Manager. They were Established in 2005 initially providing electrical services, they began to diversify with their clients’ needs to undertake refurbishments, extensions, fit-outs and new build schemes across the South East and London.

Over time they have earned a reputation as a contractor delivering on our client’s expectations time and time again. They offer a professional approach with a personal touch and enjoy high volumes of repeat business through these methods

Employment Offer

• Role: Operations Manager
• Salary: 75k per annum – negotiable depending on suitability
• Package: 5k per annum (car allowance, maintenance, etc)
• Pension: Government auto enrolment scheme
• Hours: 8-5pm
• Fuel Card
• Position: permanent full time role starting ASAP
• Workplace: East London, but there is a requirement to visit the sites as required
• Equipment: Supplied as required to complete role
• Start Date: Immediate
• 25 days holiday per year
• 8 days bank holiday

Role Specification

MUST have the following as a minimum;

• Candidate must be dedicated, hard working and have good organisational skills
• Must have the necessary qualifications/experience suitable for the role
• Experience in managing a team on multiple projects – for one or various clients – Direct management responsibility for the contracts managers in the business
• Experience with using Microsoft word, Outlook, Excel and project for producing programmes
• Experience with working on JCT (Traditional and D&B) and NEC contracts
• Detailed Knowledge and experience with general building and construction practices
• Experience with completing and presenting monthly reports
• Must have good client and supply chain facing skills
