CLIENT/ROLE…

This client prides themselves in delivering outstanding projects, on time & to budget, while maintaining an excellent standard of customer service provision.

Due to rapid growth, they want to build on their existing management team by hiring an additional Quantity Surveyor who has the same passion & work ethic.

The successful candidate will be ready to hit the ground running! You need to be trustworthy, reliable and a committed individual with a keen eye for detail and strong proven experience in the Surveying field combined with the creativity & vision to meet the needs of the business.

This client is extremely busy; as a result of job’s already won they are anticipating 80+ active sites by March 2018, they’re currently in the process of pricing up another 10-15 projects and are looking to continue this success with an additional Quantity Surveyor on board.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS…

  • Varied project experience required. Preferably in all or at least a number of the following areas; Retail/Office Fit-Outs including M&E installations, Industrial units, Refurbishments, Civils & Rail related projects.
  • You will have successfully worked on multiple jobs/projects at one time.
  • You will have experience working on projects within the ranges of £100K - £1million
  • You will be educated to Degree level or HNC/HND equivalent in Quantity Surveying
  • Holding RICS accreditation (Member/Fellow etc.) is advantageous, however not essential.

  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office - Excel, Word & Outlook
  • Ability to prioritise and work flexibly to accommodate changing priorities and deadlines
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised and also as part of a busy team.
  • Ability to deal tactfully with sensitive or confidential information
  • Ability to objectively evaluate & assess an idea/situation before deciding on the appropriate course of action along with the Ability to use initiative and problem solve.
  • An excellent team player, showing flexibility and a responsive attitude to team/individual tasks.
