Putting Manchester Back to Work

The Minstrell Training Division are proud to see the new Graduates of our first Sector Based Work Academy in partnership with Manchester Airport, The Airport Academy and Laing O’Rourke.

As the sole Training provider throughout this course, our role was to create an employable candidate who was at a competent level in Health and Safety awareness. As well as this delivering multiple key skills preparation courses in order to facilitate the candidates before their interviews, working on one of the UK’s key infrastructure projects, Laing O'Rourke.

This was a pilot scheme that has proven its worth and we hope to be involved in many more schemes over the next few years. All our attendees were previously on benefits, all lived within a five mile radius of Manchester Airport and all were actively seeking sustainable employment.
