Manchester Sets its Goals High for 2022

This morning, the MEN publication released a video detailing the potential cityscape of Manchester City Centre in the year 2022. The animated fly-through gives a glimpse into the city’s future, if a series of planned skyscrapers are built.

The video includes CGI images of how the buildings - which will predominantly be house apartments - could look based on some of the planning applications that have been submitted.

This is an inspiring video to see as it charters the ever-changing progression of the construction industry, as well as the developments in technology that are able to conceptualise, how a project can progress into a ‘city of the future’ before a brick has even been laid.
