Multi Skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer | Days

Electrical Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to join the Engineering team in Barking on a permanent Monday to Friday day shift role.

The role of the Electrical Multi Skilled Technician is to maintain all automated production machinery on site. This will include planned and reactive maintenance, Electrical and some mechanical, as well as PLC interrogation and modifications, and an active involvements with continuous improvements projects. The Company are going through major investments and improvements which include new Production and Packaging lines that are in the process of being installed. So there has never been a more exciting time to join this fast paced, expanding manufacturing Company!

Applicants will ideally have a recognised apprenticeship or qualification (ONC/HNC) level in Electrical Engineering but must be multi skilled. A current 17th Edition wiring regulations would also be advantageous but not essential. A minimum of 3 - 5 years production experience is required, preferably from a brewery, oil refinery, food or pharmaceutical production environment. Heavy Engineering Experience would also be useful.
